Happy Bee-day!

So my mother LOVES bees, she was really an owl person but said they were too in xD oh mum~ anyway, I decided I was going to make a birthday card for her <3 so here is the tutorial, just in case someone you know LOVES bees~

First off, I used the following things~
  • White, purple and yellow paper
  • A pencil and eraser
  • A black permanent marker
  • Scissors and glue
This is one of the simplest lists ever! Anyway, first off, fold the purple paper in half!

Now, get the yellow and white paper and cut the following shapes out...

Now, glue them on the card, write "happy bee-day" and draw on the bee.

Next, write inside of the card~

Now, you are done! I know, already! So quick!

I hope you enjoyed this adorable and quick tutorial~ look out for more! See you!

"Wandering Soot" Bookmark!

So I decided that for something different, since I'll be making Xmas art, I would make a Ghibli inspired bookmark! It is only the wandering soot, sorry, but feel free to do anything with your bookmark~ also sorry about image quality in advance, I took the photos with my phone and not the camera this time so they are a teeny but worse!

So what you will need is...
  • Paper (any colour, really, I used white)
  • Scissors (to cut out the bookmark)
  • Black and white paint (I used watercolours)
  • Paintbrushes and water
  • Newspaper (optional, underneath the bookmark)
  • Paper towel
  • Permanent markers (or just coloured textas, either way~)
  • Anddd finally a lining pen! (or a normal black pen!)
  • You can also bring in another colour watercolour for background if you want <3
So to start off, thank you for being patient, I am going to be posting probably 3 tutorials (definitely 2!) and then I will make my other ones in advance and we will go from there!

So first things first, you'll want to get your white paper and make a lil' fold to make a bookmark rectangle (thin but still a good size).
About this size, A4 paper too!

Then what you'll need to do is cut that piece off and sit it on top of the newspaper, so then no paint ruins whatever you are working on! (I didn't cuz I'm lazy and working on a wood table, all good man)

Now that you have completed that, paint on a thin layer of water only and quickly after doing that, dab little dots of black, these will be the soots. Don't fret about them branching out weirdly, just swirl a circle over them, should look fine after that!

Next, pat the bookmark dry with the paper towel and wait a minute for it to dry more. After I did this, I added the background colour and dried it again. I used blue~

Then, put on some little white ovals for eyes~ Their eyes vary, so if you make a mistake, it shouldn't matter too much.
All dry!

Lil' eyes!!
Now that you have done that, wait a little longer to dry the eyes and draw on some pupils and arms!

Some of my little soots are turned around, so don't mind the lack of eyes!

Now, add the stars. I used 3 basic colours, green, yellow and pink (my friend told me those are bascially the colours of them, and its true, they don't have many colours). I drew actual 5 point stars and just added more points!

After adding the stars, line them and then you are done! Feel free to punch a hole in the top to add a ribbon or even to laminate the bookmark, make it all fancy~ I, though, am lazy and will let it be a normal sheet of paper.

I hope you enjoyed this, please look out for more to come~ see you~

My list of many things to come~

Hey guys~ I made a list today and named a lot of things I was planning on doing~ I'll try to keep as up to date as possible on the list, since a lot of the stuff has to do with X-Mas, but in these next coming weeks, I'm going to be busier than normal. So, I will try to keep up as much as possibleeeee <3

First thing on the list is an idea I came up with on my own, but was inspired by a friend since she's doing an adorable lil' canvas and ah.. anyway, the "wandering soot" from Spirited Away will be the main subject for the next cute thing~~

I hope you look forward to more~ Thank you for your patience <3

A Partially Cute Splicer Mask - Cat~

So above is the mask on a splicer in game~ I really like the masks and was like "hey, let's make one!" so here we go~

First off, I bought a cat shaped mask from Spotlight and cut out the "missing area" on the mask, I also added my own ribbon and did not include the whiskers, all of this will make sense in the future..

Ok, so to start you will need:
  • Gold paint
  • White paint
  • A pencil
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon (or the handles off a gift bag)
  • A cat shaped mask (or you can be extra crafty and cut cat ear shapes from a normal mask~
  • OPTIONAL - Black paint (inside the mask)
  • OPTIONAL - Whiskers/ wire (wire as whiskers)
  • OPTIONAL - Fake blood/ red paint (if you wanna be a bloody splicer hehe)
Use this for referral if you need!
This is all pretty easy to obtain and very cheap too. I'm sick of looking at tutorials that name items I can't even begin to fathom. Anyway, on with the tutorial!

First off, you will need to take off any price sticker that may be present on the mask, I had to do this, so you might have to.

Then, apply a coat of white paint to the front of the mask. When this coat has dried, add a few more until it reaches your desirable whiteness. If you are going to make the mask seem older or more used, you can also distress the paint by disrupting the drying! (I had fun with this)

Next, after making it all nice and white, take your pencil and mark out some very nice swirls. For this step, refer to basically any picture of a splicer mask and try to mimic the swirls. They are normally at the top of the mask, over and under the eyes and the cheeks and ears.

After marking them out, paint with the gold paint, try to stay in the lines, it isn't that necessary though. If you do go out of the lines, you can apply more white paint when it is dry.

After reaching the desired look, you may want to cut out chunks of the mask, to make it look more worn. OPTIONAL - after completing this step, you may want to apply blood splatters. You can either plan or go Jackson Pollock on it!

Now, add the ribbon and try the mask on! Isn't it cool? You made this, show it off~

OPTIONAL - after doing all of the above, you can paint the inside of the mask black, this may make it look classier~ Also, you can add the whiskers too!

With the black it looks classy!

Well, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and made the mask~ I hope it looks great! Look out for more posts and keep bein cute!

What it should look like when completed <3
